At Glen Morris United, we know that different people need different ways to explore and develop their spirituality. That's why we offer different types of services and experiences to meet the needs of everyone, regardless of where they are on their spiritual journey. We enjoy sharing traditional, contemporary and intergenerational methods of worshipping together and music plays a very big part in our ministry.
Our Sunday mornings begin at 10:00am with a coffee time to enjoy the fellowship of this community. The service, offering a worship experience with inspirational messages, prayer and music, are held at 10:30am every Sunday from September to June. We share in a coffee time following the service as well, allowing participants the option of before or after fellowshipe. During the summer months our service begins at 10:00am.
We have recently implemented a unique, once per-season worship we affectionately call 'Glen Morris United Church on the Road'! We take our music and message - and any of our congregation who wish to join us - to provide a worship experience at Telfer Place Retirement Residence, at our regular Sunday worship time.
A new addition to our service presentations is CONNECT: an all-ages, interactive gathering. With a shorter time of 45 minutes, young and young at heart will enjoy this family friendly time held at 4:00pm on select Sundays, followed by free pizza and beverages for all! NOTE: There is no morning service on these days.
