DESCRIPTION:Culture Days is a national celebration held each fall\, invitin
 g individuals and groups across Canada to celebrate arts\, culture and her
 itage in their communities. The County of Brant is once again inviting res
 idents and visitors to take part in its 2026 Culture Days celebrations\, r
 unning from September 18 to October 4. All offerings can be found by searc
 hing Brant Hub at culturedays.ca/en/hubs. This year’s festivities will k
 ick off with several programs and presentations at St. George Applefest on
  September 19 and 20.\nGlen Morris will be part of the celebration with a 
 unique\, hands-on workshop inviting participants to explore the community 
 through texture\, observation\, movement and nature.\nOn Saturday\, Octobe
 r 3\, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.\, Kelly Dinsmore and Mischa Dinsmore\, 
 both of Glen Morris\, will lead a workshop that encourages participants to
  look at the community in a whole new way.Participants will take a guided 
 walk through Glen Morris\, looking closely at surface details that often g
 o unnoticed - from tree bark and building materials to doorknobs\, signage
 \, pathways and other everyday markings. The walk will cover a variety of 
 terrain and take approximately 30 minutes. Using photography\, participant
 s will document the textures they discover while also creating textured pr
 ints through rubbing\, printmaking or transfer techniques. Together\, thes
 e activities will create a visual and tactile record of their experience. 
 Rather than mapping Glen Morris by streets or landmarks\, participants wil
 l map their experience through texture. Each photograph and print will bec
 ome a record of where they have been\, what they noticed and how they conn
 ected with the surrounding environment. The result will be different for e
 very participant.\nThe workshop encourages participants to slow down\, loo
 k closely and interpret their surroundings in their own way. Grounded in a
 ccessibility and participant-led exploration\, it welcomes a variety of wa
 ys to engage—whether through photography\, printmaking\, walking\, obser
 ving or simply reflecting.\nParticipants can experience and document Glen 
 Morris at their own pace. Space is limited and registration is required by
