 ave Rev. Richard Golden as our guest minister while Rev. Michiko is on sab
 batical. As well\, we welcome our friends from St. George United Church fo
 r July. \nRaised on a farm in the Kingsville area of Ontario\, Rev. Richa
 rd Golden developed a strong appreciation for community and service from a
 n early age. After graduating from the University of Waterloo with a Bache
 lor of Arts in Sociology\, he worked in the Works Department for the Town 
 of Kingsville. During this time\, he answered a call to ministry and becam
 e a licensed Lay Preacher. In 1990\, he retired from municipal service to 
 pursue theological studies at Emmanuel College. He was ordained by the Lon
 don Conference in 1994 and went on to serve congregations in Englehart for
  five years\, Monkton for four years\, and Melbourne for twenty-one years.
  He married Joan in 1987 and proudly became an instant father to Steven an
 d Pamela. Today\, both have families of their own\, adding to the joy of f
 amily life. Following his retirement from ministry in 2024\, he and Joan s
 ettled in London\, Ontario. In retirement\, he enjoys spending time in the
  garden and pursuing his passion for model railroading.\nIf you are joinin
