 hawk Institute Tuesday September 8th\nThe tri-regions of Antler River Wate
 rshed (ARW)\, Horseshoe Falls (HF)\, and Western Ontario Waterways (WOW) i
 nvite participants to guided tours of the Woodlands Cultural Centre and th
 e former Mohawk Institute Residential Institution in Brantford\, Ontario.\
 nThe Woodland Cultural Centre (WCC) was established in October 1972\, unde
 r the direction of the Association of Iroquois and Allied Indians upon the
  closure of the Mohawk Institute Residential School (MI). The Centre is on
 e of the largest facilities in Canada managed and administered by First Na
 tions\, and serves to preserve\, promote and strengthen Indigenous languag
 e\, culture\, art and history\; bringing the story of the Hodinohshoni peo
 ple of the Eastern Woodlands to life through innovative exhibitions and pr
 ograms. (Find out more here) Each of the three Regional Councils has 20 sp
 ots for United Church people to participate in this unique tour (including
  planning team members)\nThe visit to both sites will take about 4 - 5 hou
 rs\, including lunch break. Travel time is in addition to\nthis. We gather
  at the site at 9:45 AM\, and the first tour starts at 10 AM. COST: The co
 st per person not including travel is about $40\, and confirmed/registered
  participants will be asked to pay what you can afford between $20 - S60.

 ime visiting a former Residential Institution\; 3) willingness to particip
 ate in living into right relations work within\nthe tri-regions. Selected

 l be asked to confirm their\nregistration no later than August 10th.\nThis
  invitation is open to United Church members and adherents within ARW\, HF
  and WOW Regional Councils.
