The walking group that hits the rail-trail in Glen Morris every Monday morning at 9:00am are putting their best foot forward to support the Cambridge Shelter Corporation – The Bridges. They have joined together to 'change the conversation'. As women who already walk together for fitness and fellowship, they understand that ‘By Walking to Change’ the conversation, they have committed to helping The Bridges with its efforts to help individuals exit homelessness.
But to better understand what the face of homelessness looks like, and what The Bridges is doing to help, we are pleased to have the Executive Director of the Cambridge Shelter Corp., Wayne Paddick, join us on Monday, April 22, 10:00am in the Robson Room at Glen Morris United Church. We are inviting EVERYONE to come hear Wayne share the stories of The Bridges along with the Sole Sisters and ask that you bring a $2 donation that day as the Soles Sisters do each week.. Refreshments will be provided.
