Dear beloved Passing the Peace Readers, 

This Easter I want to celebrate and remember that it is not just a day but an entire season. Easter begins at the resurrection but in the weeks leading up to Pentecost we have the opportunity to continue to make sense of a world completely changed by the new life Christ calls us into. 

Each week as we gather to worship, I will invite people to share signs of new life they are experiencing. Perhaps the return of a familiar birdsong, the daffodils blooming, the beginning of a friendship, any and all of the things that renew and restore our sense of hope and wonder. 

The Good News is calling to us, as we are. May the peace of Christ renew and inspire your faith this Easter season.

you are happening now.

right now.

right this moment

and your happening

is beautiful.

the thing that both keeps me alive

and

brings me to my knees.

you don’t even know how breathtaking you

are.
