Dear Glen Morris United Church, 

It is with much gratitude that I am setting out on a couple of weeks vacation during the month of August. While I’m sure I will have a case of FOMO (fear of missing out) while away from the Glen, I know that taking time to rest is an important practice to keep my ministry inspired and ensure I’m up for whatever God calls us to do next! 

I wish you all a lovely August as you join with St George United Church for worship and continue to enjoy the best of what summer has to offer. 

May the Peace of Christ be with you as you notice the beauty of a butterfly fluttering amongst flowers, 

May the Peace of Christ be with you as you take out the trash, pick up groceries, weed the garden, and walk the dog - encouraging you to notice God in the ordinary every day, 

May the Peace of Christ be with you in the moments you need it the most - when the day somehow got too busy, when your patience feels thin, when whatever you are carrying in your heart feels too heavy,
