This Community Loves Pancakes!

Shrove Tuesday, March 4th saw Glen Morris United Church host their annual Community Pancake Supper event with lots of fellowship, laughter and loads of calories.! With well over 100 people attending, it was great to see all ages at the in our Robson Room, from toddlers to seniors of the community. There were many familiar faces from around the Glen and we even some from beyond the community who joined us in the feast. The flow of the night was steady with no line-ups and fresh pancakes constantly coming off the grills. On top of the sales of food, there were a number of donations made which saw over $1000.00. Raised! Thank you to all volunteers who helped to make this a successful event and a big thanks to those who came out in the rain to foster a fun evening. Photos credit of Ken Hough.
