On Sunday, May 3, 2026, Glen Morris United Church marked a significant milestone as the congregation voted overwhelmingly – with 88% in favour – to become an Affirming Ministry under the banner of Affirm United.
This is an exciting time for this faith community as we hold our Affirming Celebration with all on Sunday, November 1, 2026. With coffee together at 10:00am, the service, full of music and inspiring words, will begin at 10:30am under the leadership of Rev. Michiko Bown-Kai.
As Rev. Michiko has shared, "This kind of radical welcome and hospitality changes and saves more lives than you can imagine.”
The service will be followed with even more celebration as we join together in our Robson Community Room for a time of fellowship and sweet treats!
