We're on the home stretch with the Grand River Community Play Project which will have it's performance date in Glen Morris to coincide with the Community BBQ on Sunday, August 10!
Project Lead and Playwright Peter Smth will head up another gathering here in the Glen on Thursday, June 19, 1:00-4:00pm at Glen Morris United Church. He is hoping to lay the groundwork for a puppet, banner and some rehearsal of a few parts of the play. He is also hoping to have a rehearsal of the music/choir aspect of the play that day.
It is all coming to fruition after 3 years of work with communities all along the 310 kilometres of this mighty Grand River and will be wonderful to see it happen here!
