Sunday, September 28th marks the 176th anniversary of this faith community! Under the leadership of Rev. Michiko Bown-Kai, we invite you to come celebrate with us during out worship service featuring special music from the choir, and message from guest speaker Jordan Sullivan. Jordan is a survivor of religious-based conversion "therapy" practices. He previously worked for 20 years at the United Church of Canada's General Council Office. Currently he is and independent contractor and works part-time as the CP Response Coordinator at Community-Based Research Centre where he supports the creation of survivor initiatives.
As always, coffee time will be held in our Heritage Room at 10:00am with worship beginning at 10:30am.
Following worship, at time of fellowship, with celebration cake, coffee and tea will be shared in the Robson Community Room.
