All are warmly invited to join Glen Morris United Church as we celebrate our 177th Anniversary!

The celebration will begin with coffee time at 10:00 a.m., followed by a special anniversary worship service at 10:30 a.m. Rev. Michiko Bown-Kai will provide worship leadership, with wonderful music from our choir and musicians.

We are delighted to welcome our guest speaker and friend, Peter Smith, who spent three years getting to know the people, history and stories of our community as he spearheaded the Grand River Community Play Project, The Voice of the River.

Peter is a former Artistic Director of the Blyth Festival and the founder and CEO of the Canadian Centre for Rural Creativity. His deep connection to the Grand River community makes him a particularly fitting guest as we celebrate Glen Morris United Church’s long and vibrant history.

Following the service, everyone is invited to partake in a potluck lunch in the Robson Community Room. Please bring a food item to share — everything else will be provided!

If you are joining us from home, click here. Meeting ID is 851 6767 5027 and if a passcode is required, please use 752511. If you are calling in, using the same ID and Passcode, please call  1-647-558-0588.

Come celebrate with us as we give thanks for 177 years of faith, friendship, music and community — and look forward to the years ahead with deep spirituality, bold discipleship and daring justice, where all are welcome!
